As part of the new 3 runway system (3RS) at Hong Kong and following completion of the 3rd runway, Avionics have been engaged by China State Civil Engineering (CSCE) to complete a re-build of the central runway.
The project for Avionics doubles in size from the new runway, as we are required to remove the existing AGL infrastructure and then build new.
The project is anticipated to run through to July 2024 and we will employ up to 200 people for this project alone. This is the biggest Project Avionics have won to date and are very excited to be working with the biggest Contractor in the world currently – CSCE.
